Hi Internet brand from Horizon Telecom International Company Limited, as one of the first internet services provider in Myanmar, is providing fiber internet service (FTTH) in Yangon, Mandalay, Meikhtila and Pyin Oo Lwin. The company was founded in 2012. We not only have our major data center and head office in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Near Kandawgyi Lake, but hundreds of kilometers of fiber within Yangon, Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin and now in Myeikhtilar and beyond. More than 50,000 Hi Internet users; Business Group more than 2,000 have been connected to the internet. 

Horizon Telecom International Co., Ltd (Hi Internet) is a growing company, and we need someone to be the right-hand person to our CEO. We’re searching for a Head of Operating who has strong leadership skills and the ability to run ISP Operations with an innovative point of view. The Head of Operation will lead all of ISP operation department such as ISP Field Operation, Planning & Maintenance, Project Management, Facility Management, Call Center, Administration & Fleet Management and Partner Management with high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. The ideal candidate has extensive experience within ISP/Telecom industry, preferably having worked their way up to an executive role. We believe this trajectory helps a person develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of ISP/Telecom industry.

  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process, SOP and KPI enhancement
  • Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO
  • Oversee ISP operations such as Installation & Complain Management, Call Center Management, Quality Assurance Management, Material Control Management, Admin & Fleet Management, Facility Management, Project Management and Partner Management
  • Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability
  • Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Job Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
  • M.B.A or Business Management Knowledge with IT or ISP/Telecom background 
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
  • Understanding of ISP Core, Distribution & Access Network architecture
  • Detail understanding of Optical Distribution Network design concept and Wireless network
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics 
  • Detail understanding of ISP operation procedures, SOPs and KPIs measure
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
