Job Description

• Leading all fiber design activities and provide technical expertise on all aspects of fiber design and planning
• Assist with pre-sales activities focused on passive fiber network design and deployment projects.
• Drive operational readiness activities.
• Assisting field and project teams
• Manage internal and third-party teams to produce high quality designs of FTTX and B2B networks for underground and aerial networks.
• Manage project demand and resources.
• Responsible for new build, customer connections, network upgrades, diversionary works and customized solutions
• Continued driving of improvement in costs, timescales and quality

Job Requirements

• Experience of fixed and cable operator fiber design, including detailed knowledge of working on GPON, FTTX and Active Ethernet networks
• Established network within the fiber services industry (supplier and customer)
• Excellent understanding of fiber network architectures and network topology
• Strong design experience and usage of design, survey and inventory applications
• Excellent knowledge of FT Tx topology, including mixed networks with GPON, G. FAST and Active Ethernet
• Extensive experience with Permit drafting’s/drawings, HLD, LLD and As-Built Engineering
• Experience conducting quality control of fiber engineering designs.
• Profound understanding of customer challenges within fiber network domain
• Ability to gain confidence with customer.
