The main aim of Senior NOC Manager is providing leadership in the operational process and functions of NOC and coordination to ensure that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption and manage, drive and operate NOC as per organization’s vision , mission to reach goal .
Responsible to manage the team to perform alarm handling, performance monitoring, access control, 2nd level incident handling & reporting, TT management ,arrange relevant support to field team in proactive & prompt responsive manner .
Coordinates the duty shift for NOC operations and carefully allocates staff members on different shift duties for ensuring the whole NOC shift works in an efficient and effective manner.
Work pro-actively to continuously improve the operational performance of ticket handling , system monitoring and network stability.
Attend management meetings where necessary with cross functional teams and others.
Communicate with the upstream providers for transit link matters and troubleshooting.
Giving technical solutions to FE teams based on the customer requirements, manage team for provisioning for new setup customers in Core Network such as B2B customer (L2 customers, IPVPN,MPLS VPN, DIA etc.)
Provide required guidelines to NOC for proper work flow , escalation , ticket resolution and troubleshooting .
Troubleshoot for IPT link ,access network, last mile issues work with internal and the vendor teams.
Prepare and update documentation .
Create monitoring links and alerts in NMS and update upon necessary .
Responsible for informing Management, partners and peers about network performance and service availability.
Reporting to management for urgent cases if have a network issue on the internal external.
Knowledge and understand the optical fiber network for troubleshoot
Training and sharing to NOC engineers, FE and call centers for improving technical knowledge.
Knowledge of the ISP procedure and make alignment with internal and cross teams if needed.
Provide regulars reports to management .
Must have minimum 5 years working experiences and NOC management in Internet Service Provider environment.
Must have good knowledge and skill in NOC process flow , ticket handling process, escalation processes.
Must have hand on experiences or knowledge in IP Core , NMS , Systems , Access Network ( OLT , AE Switches), ONU and Optical Fiber Network.
Must have knowledge with carrier grade core routers , switches , firewalls , NMS systems , OLT , AE Switches .
Must have knowledge and some experiences in BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS VPN, Ethernet (STP, RSTP, Dot1q, Qin), AAA platforms, BNG, L2TP, PPPOE, IPOE etc.
Must have hand on experiences in handling FTTx network.
Knowledge in transmission network.
Strong documentation skills.
Good time management skills.
Must be contactable 24/7 for urgent critical cases and incidents.
Must have Bachelor degree .
Good to be CCNP & ITIL certified , other relevant certificates and skillsets
Must fluent in English for speaking and writing .
Must have common sense , good attitude and positive mindset.
Must be good leader , mentor and team player .

Must be able to catch up quickly upcoming advanced technologies
